It's hard to believe that I wrote about my life several times a week for three years on this blog and I have not updated in three months! Turns out I don't even remember how! I tried updating tonight on my pc and could not upload photos so I'm having to send you an update via the iPhone which is where I take the majority of my photos these days anyway!
We are all doing well. James will be 8 months this week, Ron just turned 31, Grant is a fantastic big brother and a great helper and I'm just trying to juggle it all. Time is flying by and I find myself sometimes just holding James and wishing for it to slow down!!
Grant loves the avengers, justice league and anything superhero related. He is very affectionate and loves to give hugs and kisses. He will out of blue day, "I love you mommy!" Which makes my heart melt. He is his daddy's number one fan and most mornings comes down the stairs crying because daddy has already left for work and he wants his daddy! They are best friends!
James is sitting up perfectly. He wants to crawl so bad, he reaches for objects and winds up on his tummy. It won't be long now. He spent his seventh month mostly sick with colds, respiratory infections and an ear infection. I don't like to see my baby uncomfortable. He has now starting babbling "Mama" and tries to talk. He also laughs hysterically at anything big brother does. James is mostly known as "brother" around here. I called him James the other day and grant said, "James? Who's James?"
Ron continues many construction projects mostly in the southeast. He has been fortunate to go on quite a few hunting excursions lately in Arkansas and South Dakota. He also has a trip planned in February to Nicaragua.
I'm still doing my best balancing life and real estate. I sit in a model home 3 days a week and sold 13 houses in 2012. I hope to double that number in 2013. My goals for this year are to cook more healthy, well balanced meals for my family, to become more organized and to take more time for myself. In other words, don't feel guilty getting a babysitter every now and then if I need to run errands, or just walk aimlessly around the outdoor mall and think!
Ron and I took the boys to NC for Christmas and spent a wonderful long weekend with family. We still live living down south in AL and have met so many wonderful friends that are like family to us. We continue to feel blessed beyond measure and thank God for being so good to us. We wish you all a happy and healthy new year! Who knows, maybe I'll pick up this blogging thing again!!
