It's hard to believe that I wrote about my life several times a week for three years on this blog and I have not updated in three months! Turns out I don't even remember how! I tried updating tonight on my pc and could not upload photos so I'm having to send you an update via the iPhone which is where I take the majority of my photos these days anyway!
We are all doing well. James will be 8 months this week, Ron just turned 31, Grant is a fantastic big brother and a great helper and I'm just trying to juggle it all. Time is flying by and I find myself sometimes just holding James and wishing for it to slow down!!
Grant loves the avengers, justice league and anything superhero related. He is very affectionate and loves to give hugs and kisses. He will out of blue day, "I love you mommy!" Which makes my heart melt. He is his daddy's number one fan and most mornings comes down the stairs crying because daddy has already left for work and he wants his daddy! They are best friends!
James is sitting up perfectly. He wants to crawl so bad, he reaches for objects and winds up on his tummy. It won't be long now. He spent his seventh month mostly sick with colds, respiratory infections and an ear infection. I don't like to see my baby uncomfortable. He has now starting babbling "Mama" and tries to talk. He also laughs hysterically at anything big brother does. James is mostly known as "brother" around here. I called him James the other day and grant said, "James? Who's James?"
Ron continues many construction projects mostly in the southeast. He has been fortunate to go on quite a few hunting excursions lately in Arkansas and South Dakota. He also has a trip planned in February to Nicaragua.
I'm still doing my best balancing life and real estate. I sit in a model home 3 days a week and sold 13 houses in 2012. I hope to double that number in 2013. My goals for this year are to cook more healthy, well balanced meals for my family, to become more organized and to take more time for myself. In other words, don't feel guilty getting a babysitter every now and then if I need to run errands, or just walk aimlessly around the outdoor mall and think!
Ron and I took the boys to NC for Christmas and spent a wonderful long weekend with family. We still live living down south in AL and have met so many wonderful friends that are like family to us. We continue to feel blessed beyond measure and thank God for being so good to us. We wish you all a happy and healthy new year! Who knows, maybe I'll pick up this blogging thing again!!

30.
I celebrated my 30th birthday last weekend with my closest friends. We went to the spa at the grand for treatments that afternoon and then went out to dinner that night. We also spent the night at the hotel, it was the ultimate girls night out and was a blast! Ron took me to a lovely dinner the night before. It was a great weekend!
Soccer Days
Grant is playing tiny tot soccer through the YMCA this fall. Our Tuesdays and Thursdays are spent on the field trying to keep Grant focused! It's been a lot of fun and we've met some great people!
James is along for the ride for all the games and practices
Grant and Savannah found a box to play pirate ship in, this is Grant saying, "Arrghh!"
Grant and his best bud from school, Kane
Grant and proud Daddy Ron
Most days, Grant is more interested in what's playing on Scarlett's iphone and comes over to beg her to let him watch/play. 3 might be a little young for organized soccer but at least he's getting the exposure!

Four Months (Bay James)
James is now four and a half months, 20 weeks today! He is growing like a weed and his little personality emerges more and more every day! He weighs 13 pounds and 13 ounces and is 26.5 inches long. He has had rice cereal twice but his pediatrician advised me to hold off on solids until he is six months. He takes cat naps during the day but sleeps well at night. He is still waking up to eat twice each night which is wearing on me! He goes right back to sleep after eating and wakes around 7am in the morning. James adores Grant and when he's in the room James has his eyes on him at all times! They laugh at each other and play and Grant exclaims constantly, "Bay James is kicking me!" and yes, it is, Bay James.
Grant goes to preschool everyday until 12 and when I pick him up he states, "I don't want to go home! I want to stay and play with my friends!" He has recently taken an interest in music and asks for "Call Me Maybe" every time we get in the car. The other day he was going around the house singing Adele's "Rumor Has It." Grant is playing Tiny Tot Soccer through the YMCA this fall and had his first practice this week. It's hard to keep a group of three and four year olds focused. It was pretty common for them all to stop in the middle of practice to point in the sky and exclaim, "Look!! There's an airplane!" It was actually pretty hilarious. Can't wait to see what there first game will be like.
Life is busy. Two kids ain't no joke.
Most nights Ron and I are grateful if we can have a conversation uninterrupted for five minutes. It's kind of hectic and pretty crazy around our house but these two are the best. Wouldn't trade it for the world!

Orange Beach 2012
We all spent last week in Orange Beach. Jody, Lesley and George drove down to spend the week with us and get out of town, the Democratic National Convention took over Charlotte. We had a wonderful week of going to the beach, eating delicious seafood, fishing off the pier in our backyard and spending lots of quality time together! George and Grant both enjoyed catching many fish and were inseperable the entire week. They are the best of friends!
Grant was pressured into giving the fish a kiss!
I love this picture

Three Months and Pre K-3
It's hard to believe my baby boy is three months already! At three months James is:
Smiling nonstop, Starting to laugh, Sucking on his middle and ring finger all the time, sleeping for a six hour stretch at night, eating every three hours and pumping his legs and arms alot. He scoots forward when laying on his tummy. He is a sweet baby, loves to be held and is my pride and joy!
Sweet Smiles!
Grant started Pre K-3 on Monday. He exclaimed on the way to school this morning, "I go to Miss Lauren's class, Mama?" "I like Miss Lauren, She's my favorite teacher!" I said, "I'm so excited Grant, that makes Mommy feel good!"
