Grant and I are anxiously awaiting the arrival of my parents, Ron's parents and Ron's Grandparents to celebrate Thanksgiving with us! Today marks the third month birthday for my precious boy. I snapped this photo to document the day and give you a peek at how much he has recently filled out. He has become quite the personality and is such a blessing. Currently he knaws on his hands constantly and always has his hands in his mouth. He is also a HUGE drooler and has forgotten that nighttime is sleep time. We seemed to have encountered a "hiccup" in the sleep department. Since returning to Alabama from our NC trip he has not slept well at all. He gets up 3 or 4 times a night and it's really starting to wear on Ron and I. This Thanksgiving we will be grateful for all the help from the Grandmothers. I've already warned them that they are going to be helping me during their stay with putting Grant through Baby Bootcamp. Sleeping through the night and taking a bottle are on the agenda. Yep, you read that right, taking a bottle. One of the simplest things for a baby to do and Grant just can't seem to get a grasp on it. He screams and yells and cries, he does NOT like having the foreign object shoved into his mouth. We have tried all kinds of bottles and nipples, we have tried all kinds of positions and people and he just keeps resisting. ugh. I'll keep you posted with our progress. I would love to know if any of you other mother's out there have encountered this problem. This month I look forward to so many milestones he will hopefully reach, rolling over and maybe his first laugh? I know these times will be shortlived so I'm trying to enjoy all those sleepless nights... Just kidding!
Such a cutie! Good luck on the bottle thing - Matylda wouldn't hardly take one either, only if she was starving and I was nowhere around her. She doesn't take a pacifier either. Hopefully you have better luck! Enjoy your company:)
