Ginger was Ron's beloved Labrador that came to live with him in 2000. Ginger was with Ron through all four years at ECU. When Ron and I were just starting to date in 2002, I would go by his apartment to pick Ginger up and take her for walks. We both needed the exercise but I had a bigger agenda in mind! Ginger was the sweetest, most obedient dog I've ever been around and today her life came to an end after suffering from congestive heart failure. Ginger has been living with Ron's parents since his graduation from college in 2004. A military career and the constant traveling/moving was not the life for a dog. Ginger had a wonderful life with Jim and Jody and we are all deeply saddened by her passing today. Visiting Jim and Jody will not be the same now without Ginger coming to sit by our feet, nuzzling us with her nose and begging for her chest to be rubbed. We love you Ginger and will miss you greatly. You were a great companion!
