We were lucky enough to have my Mom here with us for Easter this year. Ron and I took full advantage of having her around and decided to go on a date on Easter Eve. Earlier in the day, Ron had without my permission, taken Grant for a haircut and he came home looking like this. I cried. Although the cut is growing on me now, it was a shock not only because he looks like such a big boy but because all the curls and the blond were gone. Hmmmppphhh.
The Easter Bunny was very good to Grant this year. He realized Grant had been actively playing in the dirt often and decided he was in need of a giant dumptruck for all those loads of dirt to haul around.
The Easter Bunny once again left Grant's treasure on our front porch, you can check out Grant's Easter Surprise with cousin George last year, HERE
We attended the 8:30 Mass on Easter morning and as a result Grant received his Easter surprise after church. We would have never gotten him out of the house and off to church otherwise...
Trying out the trucks "dumping" capabilities almost immediately
yep, it works.
"Let's take this baby for a whirl!" Headed straight for the dirt.
Grant was very excited about his dinosaur egg that was in his truck. We put the egg in water and 48 hours later, we had a baby triceratops. He loved watching the egg hatch.
