Last Friday night we all gathered at the splash pad for our pal Chloe's Second Birthday. Grant has never been a huge fan of getting his clothes or bathing suit wet so I didn't know how he would do. Luckily, with the help of his buddy Brooks, he warmed up to the idea of enjoying the fountains and by the end of the party did not want to leave. He did however sneak a cupcake off of the decorated table before we all sang "Happy Birthday to You" and he also embarrassed Mommy and Daddy to death when nature called in the middle of the party. He politely excused himself from the fountain, pulled his pants down in front of everyone in the grass and relieved himself to my horror while the other Mommy and Daddy's died laughing and snapped pictures. Yes, I was "that Mom" and that was "my kid." I die.
