Christening Gown

Ron's Mom, Jody, made the most incredible Heirloom Christening Gown for Grant. She spent six plus months slaving over the project and the end result is absolutely amazing. All of the embroidery was done by hand and is truely a sight! I'm very lucky to have such a talented Mother-in-law to make such wonderful things for Grant and the gown is so special.

This is the front of the bonnet that goes with the gown

I believe there are six layers of lace at the bottom
Jody had me write Grant's name and the date of his christening in cursive then she traced it onto the slip of the gown. She later went over it in needlepoint, we will do this for all of our children who wear the gown and their children as well. It reads: Grant Fitzgerald Yaeger, November 29, 2009.
