Spanish Fort's Fire Department held Open House today, the public was free to come visit the fire station and children were able to play on the big Firetrucks! Grant who at the moment is really into firetrucks as well as pirates, ;) was excited to get up close and personal with the firetrucks he regularly sees going up and down the highway and to whom he exclaims, "Nee Nor, Nee Nor." It took him a minute to warm up to the idea, at first he wanted to be held and stated they were "scary."
Luke was along for the adventure
Fearless Luke loved every minute exploring the ins and outs of each truck
Grant helped put out fires with the water hose
and there was a bounce house, what else do you need?
a slide perhaps?
or a bulldozer?!
police car? this was a little boys dream! Grant enjoyed every second!
and in case you're wondering what Grant is toting around in every picture, meet "Fireman Guy." Grant has a handfull of action figures he calls "guys" so this one is named similarly. I picked him up for 10 cents at a yard sale before our excursion and Grant walked up to every Firefighter at the event, held out his Fireman Guy and said, "LOOK!"
